Quickwire is proud to announce our latest collaboration with Kosnic, a name synonymous with quality and reliability in the lighting industry. Together, we’re introducting the Quickwire/Kosnic Mauna II 6W Dimmable Fire Rated Downlight—a compact, high-performance lighting solution engineered for modern installations.

Each Kosnic downlight comes factory fitted with a Quickwire plug and socket, ensuring fast, secure connections right out of the box. With an integrated dimmable driver, this unit is compatible with mains dimmer switches and supports seamless CCT switching, offering three versatile colour temperature settings (3000K for a warm, inviting glow; 4000K for balanced illumination; and 6000K for a crisp, energizing light).

Designed for flexibility and ease of installation, the Kosnic Mauna II is suitable for fire-rated applications of 30, 60, and 90 minutes on both I-Joist and solid joist systems. It can be installed under insulation with a void of 60mm, and its shallow depth makes it ideal for installations where ceiling space is limited.

A standout feature is the innovative interchangeable magnetic bezels. Supplied with a classic white bezel as standard, additional finish options are available to tailor the look to any environment. The magnetic design ensures that changing the bezel is quick and effortless—no twisting lock mechanisms required.

The Mauna 2 features innovative, interchangeable magnetic bezels that provide a quick and hassle-free way to update its appearance. Supplied with a classic white bezel as standard, you have the option to choose from additional finishes such as chrome, brushed chrome, brass, antique brass and black, ensuring the perfect match for any décor. The magnetic design eliminates the need for twisting lock mechanisms, making it exceptionally easy to swap bezels and refresh your lighting setup whenever you desire.
